How to differentiate these verbs?
Let's say i'm talking about 'kite'. How could I tell apart 'to wear' from 'to come' ?
Or a harder one... If i'm talking about 'want to stay', and 'painful'? Both seem to be 'itai'!
Thanks in advance for any help

>How could I tell apart 'to wear' from 'to come' ?
'to wear' is 着て
'to come' is 来て
you should learn Kanji(漢字).

Use context in what ever medium you encounter such words.
How do you tell apart the uses of "well"? Does it mean good, a place from which one draws water, or a sentence filler?

Well..
Writing - Just using Kanji. Maybe looking at the context, but forget romaji or hiragana for everything, learn kanji! =]
Talking - The conversation context. You cannot "Wear to your home".. or something like that.. hahaha..

I think there is a difference of the verb conjugation between these verbs. So if you know the way of conjugation,it's easy to know witch meanning.Do you know How it works?
Wear "kiru"is " i " line conjugation (It's called " igyou henkaku katsuyou in Japan)like
ki-nai
ki-masu
kiru
kiru-toki
kire-ba
kire
I maen It always starts from " i " line
Come kuru is iregular conujugation
Ko-nai
Ki-masu
kuru
kuru-toki
kure-ba
koi
So it's easy to find witch meanning.Because it's definitly different althout original form is the same.By the way,There are only two verb have iregular conjugation.
one is come "Kiru" and other is Do "suru"
may be it's a little bit complicated. But it's a thing you need to know.If you still have questions.I will help you with pleasure.Have fun
