Es una afirmación, se da por supuesta una respuesta positiva.
Ejemplo: ¿Irás al cine? ¡Y tanto que sí!
Una expresión que tiene el mismo significado es ¡Claro que sí! o Por supuesto.

¡Y tanto que sí! equivale a ¡por supuesto! Se utiliza cuando estar de acuerdo con una propuesta o afirmación previa. De hecho es más habitual escuchar por supuesto o claro que sí.
