This is not case with the India. Diet is a part of culture along with personal ethics. So if you are unconventional, people(society) will think or take it in a different way. So either others are not fully aware of the principal thought process of vegetarianism or they simply don't care about it. You are from China? I have read and had a first hand review that it is impossible (or very hard) to survive in China being a vegetarian.
