I would say for example: "I am waiting for someone" (like I am at some place and I'm waiting for a certain person to meet me there) or "I am expecting someone to come" (like I expect that a person comes and meet me at a certain time). Hope this helps :)

It is also very common in the uk to say "I am expecting" which means, "Im pregnant"

We never say "expecting for". You wait for something/someone, or you expect someone/someone. "For" isn't used with expect. Also, "expecting" can mean "pregnant". We can't use "waiting" in this context.

To echo what others have said: expect and wait for are totally different. I expect that it will rain tomorrow, because I live in London and it is, unfortunately, extremely likely.

to expect -- to suppose that something is likely to occur. to wait for -- to remain until the outcome occurs. to hope (for) -- to desire an outcome to occur.
