Is this Future tense correct? They are going to go.
Can you say 'they are going to go to the supermarket tomorrow'? Or do you have to say 'they will go to the supermarket tomorrow' or 'they are going to the supermarket tomorrow'?

That is perfectly fine, but is a little "clumsy" because the verb is being repeated. To reduce this they would say "they're going to go' or 'they're going to the supermarket tomorrow' - in 'they're going to the supermarket tomorrow' the future is indicated by the word 'tomorrow'. if 'tomorrow' wasn't in the sentence you would have to say 'going to go' to indicate future.
As for Benoit's advice, 'plan to go' is ok, but 'going to go' is stronger/more definite.

Hi Lisanne,
The form "going to (do something)" is normally used when talking about a plan and usually you mention a time or date in the future, in this case, tomorrow.
"Will do something" is more often used for an intention, but not sure when exactly.
"Shall" is only used when referring to "I" or "we".

Yes, it is correct.
It looks a bit strange and repetitious when it's written down in full, but in fact when we say this phrase it sounds fine. In natural spoken English you'd hear something like 'They're g'na go to the supermarket', and it doesn't sound awkward at all. Try it and see.
As for your alternatives, yes, you could say them, but the meanings would be somewhat different. As I'm sure you know, we have many ways of expressing the future, all with slightly different nuances of meaning.
