I think it would be more memorable (and sweeter) if you're the one who will decide on it. After all, you are the one who knows the boy better. We don't have a clue of what he does, whether he's a nerd or a rocker, an intellectual or an athlete, childish or manly, etc. So yeah, think about the gift that you think will most certainly delight him-the gift that suits him best.
