there is a different between these two expression.... 1)他写得好这篇文章,means He could writes the article well and he have the ability to do that 2)这篇文章他写得好means,this article which he write is very good

1.the first sentence : if we ask a question like this:他写得好这篇文章吗? the answer can be:他+写得好(重音）+这篇文章。It means that he is able to (stress) write the article well. The sentence is stress that he have the ability to write the article well. 2.the second sentence always be spoken in special condition. for example,many people wrote the same subject.if I want to stress his article is better than the others. I will say:这篇文章 他(stress) 写得好. the sentence streess that his article is better than the others. if you just want to express:"He writes the article well'. In common sentence sequence:他这篇文章写得好。 My english isn'st very well.Hope you can understand it.

I feel the two sentences just express the same meaning. 得means he has the capacity to write the article well. so it means "he CAN write the article well." I don't think there's any word means a comparison to conclude he is the BEST.
