I'm from England and I find British accents extremely diverse. There is a huge difference between London- Manchester - Liverpool - Birmingham - Newcastle - Glasgow - Belfast just to name a few. I find American and Canadian English is not as diverse but they also have quite distinct accents eg New York compared to Georgia. But as someone else said... what is the question?

The different English accents aren't as different as you might think. If you go to www.forvo.com you can hear speakers from different regions pronounce words in their local accents.
