what does"ho" mean in english? My chinese family name is 贺and I was told that pronunced as"ho" I know "hoe"is a bad word in American english,but how about "ho"? my chinese family name is 贺 he,but people always kid me that why I called "he" but not "she"?last couple of months,I was told that贺 pronounced as "ho",so I use this name. but!!!!! It seems to be strange when I introduce myself . Could you guys help me? pls,and if you are a chinese,tell me what english name I should use.
