Always doing vs. always did?
What's the difference between them?

The answer is in the grammatical rules for doing and did.
Doing means that you are presently continuously doing it.
Did is past tense.
"He always did this to me," means all of the time in the past, in similar situations he would always do that to him/her.
"He's always doing this to me," means that all of the time, he does that to him/her and is still doing it.
