Is it correct to write or say "Can you do me a favor? It's because I heard a teacher say that; "do me" and for my it doesn't sound well I thought It was "make me".

Is it correct to write or say  "Can you do me a favor? It's because I heard a teacher say that; "do me" and for my it doesn't sound well I thought It was "make me".

"Can you do me a favor?" is a very common phrase in english.  "make me" would never be used in place of "do me" in that sentence.
