However, the others are more or less tolerated in respect of the tradition of the honored front line batallions since the Korean war. Even the army HQ can't afford to enforce the official salutation motto to the front line batallions that simply. Their commanding generals are mostly senior to the chief of staff at the HQ. Summing it up: it depends on the batallion. It's mostly "충성".
