Bunch
What does a stretch mean in this context? I watched a movie and there is a scene where a group of villains continually kill the innocent people. A scared person says, "I get the feeling that killing ain't too much of a stretch for this bunch." In the dictionary, apparently, stretch has a lot of meanings, which confuses me. Please give me another example.

Hey. If something is a stretch then it's difficult, or possible unattainable. As he says "ain't (isn't) too much of a stretch", he is thinking they're capable of killing. Maybe they've done it before? And maybe its easy for them. Hope that helps

It means that killing is not too difficult for them, that they could do it easily (because they have killed before) Another example would be: Steve is a computer engineer, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for him to install Microsoft Office on my computer.

A "stretch" means "to reach farther than usual, by exerting effort." When you stretch a rubber band, you making it longer by pulling on it. Here, "killing ain't too of a stretch" means that killing is almost a normal activity for these people. It's within their normal range of activities. They don't need to "stretch" outside what they normally do. They are accustomed to beating people up, actually killing them isn't anything extra.
