Скажите пожалуйста, what's the difference between приготовить и готовить?
As I can see, both of them mean "to prepare",right? Are they used in different kinds of situations?))

Приготовить - совершенная форма глагола готовить.'приготовить' That's perfect form of verb 'готовить'
OK.
Я готовлю indicates a process I 'm preparing something right now. Я готовил - I was preparing something, but we don't know whether I've finished or not.  
Я приготовил - indicates a result I have prepared something and now I'm ready =) Я приготовлю это завтра - I somehow promise that I will finish my preparation tomorrow.
приготовить has no present form. You can't say : я приготовляю .

In colloquial Russian- Готовить -means to cook , the rest is as Maxim said
