我学习中文的时候遇到了一个我不太懂的词汇。哪个就是“按照”。词典里，“按照”的意思就是“according to”的意思。要是词典对的话，“按照”那个词就是“根据”的意思。可是，我真的不知道什么是真的！

我还想问你们用“按照”或者“根据”写一些句子，很要帮我明白那两句话的意思。

First of all,you shoul know that Chinese is very fexible and many Chinese words have the same meaning.
"按照" usually means “follow”“as sb./sth.said”“obey”，for example, 按照我说的做，Do it as I said(do it following what I said),
"根据"is  a  direct translation of “according to”，for example，根据那个调查，他是无辜的，He is innocent accroding to that investigation.

根据 = there is irrefutable proof that it is true/false etc.
