Still, Yet and Already are words that can all be used to describe the 'time' when describing an action. Even has a few meanings, shown below. STILL - up to an including the present or the time being referred to. Examples: I have tried eating olives every day for a week and I still don't like them. I've searched all day for my watch but I still can't find it It can also mean 'motionless' Examples: He wasn't moving. He was still. In the still of the night (it was quiet, calm) YET - up to this present moment or up to the time that is being referred to Examples: I haven't finished reading that book yet. I am still reading it - The task of reading the book isn't complete. ALREADY This is a word used to describe something that has happened before now or the time being described E.G. I don't need to have a shower because I have already had one. I'll make you a coffee. There is no need. I have already made you one. Have you finished your dinner already? (meaning it was finished quicker than expected) EVEN I haven't even spoken to the girl. - The use of even here is used to emphasize something - for example, I haven't seen or 'even' spoken to her; I can't go to the wedding. I have no suit or tie. I don't even have an invitation! Even can also be used to describe something that is smooth and level - an even table (it is flat, smooth, featureless) Even can also be used to describe something that is equal in number - 1, 3 and 5 are not even, but 2, 4 and 6 are even. Even can also be used to describe someone's temperament - He has an even temper (his behaviour is consistant)

buena pregunta! Still se usa cuando la acción es en el presente. por ejemplo, are you still cooking? (¿estas cocinando todavía?) o Are you still there? (¿estas ahí todavía?) Yet se usa por el pasado o si la acción se ha terminado. Ejemplos: have you cooked it yet? (¿lo has cocinado todavía?) o are you there yet? (¿has llegado ahi todavía?) Already se compara con la palabra ya. Ejemplos: have you already cooked? (¿ya ha cocinado?) o are you already here (¿ya estas aquí?) Una nota importante es que already puede estar in uno de dos sitios. ejemplo: are you (already) here (already). escoge uno. póngalo después del verbo y pronombre o después del resto de la oración. even. una palabra molestosa de traducir. es como poner duda en una pregunta. mi mejor ejemplo seria are you listening contra are you even listening? (¿estas escuchando? contra ¿estas escuchando o no? ¡espero que eso le ayudara!

Already is used when something has happened already. Example: Is it already 8'o clock? Is your brother already at school? I already bought it. Yet is used when you expect something but it hasn't happened yet. Example: Is it time yet? I don't know yet, but I will. Still is used when something is happening like it's continuation. Example: Are you still thinking about that? Is your brother still working out? Even is used for many things but in this context of time, it's used when something is unexpected. Example: I didn't even know about that. I didn't even get the chance to see him.
