Hey Wat, you change your Name. pretty cool, it easier now!
Well Triston. Actually, both "unos" and "algunos" have a pretty similar meaning with some subtle difference
they both indicate something near "some" but here is the key
Unos: is the masculine plural form of "unos" and it's mean is quite similar to some, but watch out! it doesn't indicate a limited number or little amount of the thing that you are talking about, it only means that not all
ex some day... = unos dias...
so as you can see, it only indicates that not all days but just some of the days ( without saying a few dais either! ) and right here i have to go nasty, cuz even when Wat is my friend i got to say "unos" is widely used, even more than algunos! sorry pal!
On the other hand is "algunos" that also indicates that some of " " whatever your talking about, but at the same time, shows that are the less of " " whatever of what you are talking about. Like Wat says, "a few" is a great translation but altogether with "some"
Ex: ... yes, but only sometimes = si, pero solo algunas veces!
OK, i hope it helps!

Unos/Unas is the plural of Uno/Una.
Una silla = a chair
Unas sillas = chairs
To be honest, I think it is barely used. I've never even seen it written somewhere.
Algunos/Algunas means "a few/several" :
Algunas sillas = A few/several chairs
I don't think "unos/unas" is ever used in a phrase. If you want to say "I have chairs", you can just say "Tengo sillas", and not "Tengo unas sillas"
And to say "I have a few/several/some chairs", you can say "Tengo algunas sillas".
