What is the difference between 犬 and 够? I think you are asking the difference between 犬 and 狗, 够 is just a typo, although it has the same pronounciation with 狗. 犬, this one means "dog", is pretty formal and ancient, it's seldom used in our daily lives now. Although there are occasions that someone wants to be different, like to be funny or sarcastic and etc. 狗 is a synonym of 犬, it's way more common and informal than the previous one, some kids , even some pretentious adults would say "狗狗“ to be cute or pretending that they are young. But when parents say this to their kids, it's pretty normal. 够, this one has lots of meaning, which would depend on the context. But the most common meaning would be "enough“. Hope this would serve you right! Bye.

They are basically the same. 狗=犬=dog However we use 狗 more often in everyday conversation, and 狗 is more general. for example: 那隻"狗"好可愛喔! or 我也有養"狗" <- so, doesn't matter which type of dog it is. 犬 is used in the naming of different types of dogs. for example: 拉不拉多"犬", 柴"犬", 哈士奇"犬"
