Why are people using 산셍님 for 의사/ ?
Hello, i am curious... i heard lof of Koreans using word 선생님(fixed) for doctors, chiefs in shop and stuff.
I thought that 산셍님 is teacher/professor.

산생님 can be used as generic respectful form of address.

I think you mean 선생님. 
And as Natasha said, it is used for people with a specialization in a field of study as well as school teachers.
