Is there difference between "as usual" and "as always"?
Hi,
some time ago, a friend asked to me how was my weekend.
I answered "my weekend was good, as always" and he corrected me... as usual?
Well, I didn't have time to ask the difference, so I am answering here.
In this context this answer is wrong?
>> My weekend was good, as always <<
Thanks for advance

Technically you are wrong.
Because "always" means every time (without any fail).
And "usual" means usually or most of the time.
Of course, this is "nitpicking" (i.e. very detailed & not necessary).

I repeated this phrase to myself several times to see the differences and i feel like either one is correct anytime. So I think you were correct.
