Could you please translate "to lose" and "to win"?

"to lose" and "to win" => "지는 것"과 "이기는 것".
There are three ways to make a noun out of a verb: -는 것, -기, and -(으)ㅁ (-는 것 is the most general).
- 지다 (to lose) -> 지는 것, 지기, 짐.
- 이기다 (to win) -> 이기는 것, 것, 이기기. ("지는 것과 이기는 것")
- 살다 (to live) -> 사는 것, 살기, 삶.
- 죽다 (to die) -> 죽는 것, 죽기, 죽음. ("사는 것과 죽는 것", "삶과 죽음")
e.g.
- 지는 것이 이기는 것이다 = To lose is to win.
- 사는 것도 죽는 것도 하늘의 뜻이다 = To live or to die, it is up to heaven.

lose = 지다
