Hi :) MI DAI is used expecially for a request (in a question), DAMMI for an order (imperative mood). For exemple: Per favore, mi dai il tuo libro? (Can you give me your book, please?) Dammi il tuo libro, per favore. (Give me your book, please). MI DAI il used also with "if". For exemple: Se mi dai un bacio, ti sposo (if you kiss me, I'll marry you) Ti porterò il resto se mi dai tempo (I'll get the rest to you if you give me time). If you have any other question, ask me :)

Do you want to know the difference between <mi dai > and <dammi> ? Mi DAI - Per piacere, mi dai le chiavi ? (Please, do you give me the keys?) - Grazie per l'aiuto che mi dai. (Thank you for the help that you give me) DAMMI - Dammi subito le chiavi ! (Give me the keys now!) <Mi dai> is more kind and can be used even in interrogative sentences. <Dammi> is an order, can be used in direct speech only. Ciao
