Only transitive verbs can take a direct object, as in 존경하다(respect), 사랑하다(love), etc. 그는 좋은 남자예요 (note 예요. 에요 is an error), is structurally very close to your English sentence. 그는 (he) 좋은 남자(good man)예요(is). 예요 at the end is a conjugated form of the adjective 이다(am, is, are), so the sentence does end with an adjective. 이다 is special in that it equates, or couples("copula") the subject(그) and the complement(좋은 남자). It is the only adjective that directly attaches to a noun without an intervening space. Examples: - 나는 학생이에요 = I am a student.
