What does " You’re not kidding! " means ? Hi I would like to know the meaning of the saying " You’re not kidding! " and i would appreciated if you provide me with more examples.

When somone say " aunt emma is pregnant can you believe it ?!! If u are surprised by that you will say woow what tell me that you are not kidding .. which means is that true ? But u say it when you are surprised or annoyed or when you donot believe that something really happened .

Wendy is correct. 'kidding' means something like 'joking' or 'teasing'. It's when your friends tell you something that isn't true to play with you. 'kidding' is light-hearted, not deliberate lying or cheating. So, if they are 'not kidding', it means they are telling the truth. So, you would usually say that to refer to something that is a little unusual, or possibly untrue. Another similar thing to say is 'Are you kidding?' - which is when you want to make sure that someone isn't teasing you. In your question - you should write 'mean', not 'means'. i.e: What does xxx mean?

It means they agree with the person they are responding to. ot is like, "I agree. That is true."
