“not only... but also..." Is this sentence grammatically correct? Not only has China published the most papers on the Drying Technology periodical, but also it has the most research groups.

Here is a suggestion: “Not only has China published the most papers IN the Drying Technology JOURNAL, but IT ALSO (or “also it”, but “it also” sound more natural to me) has the most groups dedicated to drying technology research.” When we write about papers being published in a journal, we say “in”. We use “on” to describe what the paper is about. Example: She published a paper ON the rapid drying of synthetic fibers IN the Journal of Drying Technology.

Here's a suggestion for a more grammatically correct sentence: Not only has Chine published the most papers on Drying Technology, but they also have the most reasearch done on it. Hope this helps!
