When asking questions containing usted/ustedes, which word order sounds more natural? 1) the verb first, then usted(es) <--- how I was taught - ¿Habla usted inglés? - ¿Viven ustedes aquí? 2) usted(es) first, then the verb - ¿Usted habla inglés? - ¿Ustedes viven aquí? Is one way more common in writing and another way more common in speech? Or is word order in Spanish so flexible and both forms are so common that it doesn't matter?
