1 and 3 are OK. 2 sounds crazy: you are losing the game, no need to say 'it appears'.

Usually I would use 'as if' to emphasise the conditionality of the statement. Also 'appears' is a very clinical, detached verb, it sounds as if you are trying to sound objective: do you not care?

It looks as if we've lost the game!
