Hi Heidi, "I feel really excited to write to you." Yes, your sentence is grammatically fine. You have your subject (I), linking verb (feel), adverb of degree (really), excited (adjective) and infinitive, all in the correct order. Of course, there are other alternatives as well: * I am really excited to write to you. (using another linking verb "am') Just as a side discussion: Infinitives are used after many adjectives. Therefore, you should write: "I feel really excited to write (infinitive) to you." instead of "I feel really excited writing (gerund) to you." It's ok, yes. It's not as normal/conversational. Try: "I'm so excited to be talking," or "I feel excited writing to you," or "I am excited at this opportunity to write to you." There are even more options for socially correct expressions which mean what you wrote in the question. Clarifying the context helps choose the best response :)
