Yes, Romulus is right. In this case, loving money equals worshiping idols. You may think of it in another way: yes, money is necessary for our earthly life, but, who gave you the wisdom, health and skill to make money--God alone. Money itself can't do it at all. Money is a blessing from God, but it's not God per se.

People here were talking about Holy Book and God issue. I agree with them. But unfortunatelly in a modern life money determine our being. We need it in order to satisfy our essential needs. The need to have money makes us to act and behave in a particular way. The matter is to be addicted to money or not :) You can posses money but it can also posess you. The distinction is so fine i think.

why, you're still in doubt? as a matter of fact, anything that separates man from God is said to be "second god". However, in the Holy Book, it doesn't state that Money is evil, but the LOVE of MONEY is the root of all Evil. to me, it is therefore the LOVE for anything (except God) is the second god. :)
