What do you call first and last day of shooting movies?
In my country, we call the last day of the shooting of movies "Close camera." This is literally translated from my language. And "Open camera" for the first day they start shooting.

I don't know if there's similar terms in English. Are there technical terms for first day and last day of movie shooting that are used in show biz?

Hmmm. I don't think there is a word for the start day. Aside from, as you already said, "the day they started shooting."

On the last day they "wrap production." The director might say, "That's a wrap!" and that means the shooting has finished. And often, after they wrap production, there is often a "wrap party" which is where the cast and crew celebrate the end of production.
