"to" or "for" - which is the correct preposition to be used in this context? Hi friends, "to" or "for" - which is the correct preposition to be used in this context? (context: I am going to put this as the heading of my email. One of our clients has asked for a quotation. We are an audit firm). 1) Quotation to conduct an audit on outsourcing services. 2) Quotation for conduct an audit on outsourcing services. Thanks in advance, Niwantha

The first is correct. The second would have to be 'for conducting'.

I agree with Adam. And I think “on” is probably not right.
