Now AT COLLEGE, courses are specific and interesting "In college" refers to a period of time, and "at college " refers to a place. 1. When IN high school, students attend almost the same courses in the troditional classrooms. Could I say" When AT high school, students attend almost the same courses in the troditional classrooms"? 2. Now AT college, courses are specific and interesting. Could I say "Now in college, courses are specifc and interesting"? Are both "in" and "at" OK in the above sentences? Thank you.

in and at? sure can. As you point out they means slightly different things, but both make sense here. . Not sure what you man to say with teh sentences, though. Here, at least, the last 3 years of secondary school have electives, specific classes based on what you like or plan to do later.
