The confusing sentence
Hi, everyone!
Please tell me how to understand the below sentence.
The sentence is divided into two parts with comma. My question is
“What is the relationship between them?”, and “What is grammatical points? Conjunction, Participle Construction etc”.

“Sales of Taylor Electronics have increased substantially over the past year, a result that some analysts attributed to the CEO’s strong leadership”.

This means: “Sales of Taylor Electronics have increased substantially over the past year, which was a result that some analyst attributed to the CEO’s strong leadership”.
Omission of "which was" in such sentences is common usage. And note Nanren888's comment about "analysts" instead of "analyst".
