I have a pen 私はペンを持っています。 Watashi wa pen wo motte imasu I have a cat　私は猫を飼っています。Watashi wa neko wo katte imasu "watashi wa pen o arimasu" is wrong. ""watashi wa pen o motte imasu" is correct.
