Dear, The word چون also means “as soon as”. Moreover, the word چونی, sometimes means “how are you”. But the word چون‌که, should be in a cause and effect structure that means “because of” or “due to the fact that”.

There is no difference actually. "چون" can be considered "چونکه" with an omitted "که". It means "because" and relates two sentences and implies that the latter is the cause of the first. A happens because B happens. "کودک غذا نمیخورد چون/چونکه سیر است." the usage is the same as "زیرا که، برای اینکه،زیرا،به خاطر اینکه، به دلیل اینکه". If you are willing to use a noun clause, you can use "به خاطر". A happens because of B(noun clause). "به خاطر ب،الف اتفاق افتاده است." "به خاطر سرما، آب یخ زده است." "به خاطر گرما، تشنه ام."
