Practice-aholic
I know that we use "-aholic" to refer someone who likes something a lot or who is unable to stop doing something. So if a person likes to practice anything a lot, can I say that person "practice-aholic"?

Hello Hasib!
I can understand why you would want to say that but perhaps you could use the thing that he is practicing before "-aholic". For example if your friend likes to practice painting you could probably get away with saying "paint-aholic".
I hope that helps!

Yes, if you want to say that they practice a lot.
Typically it is used to refer to a more specific activity. Examples:
workaholic
alcoholic
dance-aholic
soccer-aholic
spanish-aholic
exercise-aholic
The last four are not real words. But it is an acceptable creative use of the language.

Alliteration: similar sounds at the beginning of words.
a fanatic- is someone who is obsessive.
If I were studying French, I could be a French fanatic...crazy about learning French!
I know plenty of football fanatics... and that works with soccer/futbol (Europeans say football for soccer, American football would work too) I call plenty of people football fanatics, strangers and friends alike.
Its kind of corny and goofy, (silly) but not harmful.
cultural tip #1, A Cuckoo bird used to be on a cereal commercial, and said on this commercial, "I'm cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs (the name of the cereal). Here, cuckoo means crazy for...as well as the name of the bird, haha -a pun, a play with words that have two meanings. I guess that shows my age- this was in the late 70's early 80's.
Tip #2- A reference to "The Energizer Bunny" is an ad for a bunny, with these batteries that lasted a long time. Its a metaphor for someone that never quits.
"sweet tooth" means you're addicted to/love sweets, candies, desserts
"motor mouth" is not nice, someone who can't be quiet. (a motor is always running, ie. running your mouth means you should stop talking so much)
You could also say they are __________ obsessed. Fill in with whatever they are practicing..
there's also a syllabic component here, stick with 1 syllable in front of -aholic
chocaholic. workaholic.
addicted to _________always works. addicted to practice. Can't wait for practice. Lives for practice. The highlight/best part of his day is when we practice!
Or, you could say a _____________ junkie. a junkie is another word for addict. A Practice/Practicing junkie. A car junkie. A Junk Food Junkie. (an addict)

Then what would people typically say?

I would understand it, but I would only expect to hear "practice-aholic" in the context of a joke or something - it's certainly not a thing people would typically say :)
