@ Peachey , 'a' is beyond what the eye can see, that is why it is invisible ;)

Hi guys :) Austin, I've worked out that our friend is looking for a definition of the word pictographically, ie. interpretation of each character being an image of something. Like in Chinese! Unfortunately I don't agree with the method either. :-/ It's difficult when one also has to refer to Latin or obscure English words to understand the question. 孟路君, I'm not sure how "n" represents the ground and where the definition of "a" is? There's many variations on this word spread through other European languages. If this helps you, I use www.etymonline.com to check the history of a word, for a start.
