Like everything to do with langauges "You get out, what you put in". Personally, I use italki at least once a day, I teach here, I've made friends here, I use the notebook and question facilities and I'm a paying student here. I have not found a better langauge learning site and to be honest I have stopped looking because I cannot imagine one that better suits my needs! If you are just watching your screen waiting for people to ask you to be their friend or waiting to absorb new language, you won't achieve anything. Languages need to be actively learnt! Good luck.

In my own opinion I don't think so... I am enjoying asking and answering question on the other hand I learn something which I can't learn in other social networks. I am happy to be here.

it's not surprising to know that someone gets to be bored on something they don't really like or having no interest at all. ask yourself if this site really suits your iinterests. if it is not, then it really is boring... I don't find this site boring though. :)

I do not think so, when we are learning languages we can talk about virtually everything, so, if it becomes boring, we can just change the subject.
