when asking for something in a polite way, you shoould always use the word "maari" yet this sounds a rather old fashioned tagalog grammar. "maari ko ba na hiramin ang kompyuter mo?" "maari ba na hiramin ko ang iyong kompyuter?" in a day to day conversation, you would likely hear: "Puwedeng pahiram ng kompyuter mo?" :)

What they said is correct. But for me, if you will ask someone close to you, just say: "Pahiram ng computer mo." ^^
