Yes, we have many and its not just pronunciation. I recently saw a job advertisement for a teaching position in China which to paraphrase said something like "UK people with extreme accents would not be suitable for this post." Which I took to mean strong Scottish, Newcastle or Northern Irish accents, but maybe that shows my own prejudice. Exhibit A Parkinson, the guy on the left, would have been trained to speak in the Queens English (was compulsory in the old days of television), but retains a soft Yorkshire accent.
