What behavior usually annoys Chinese.
From your experience of dealing with foreigners, what kinds of rude behavior (from the point of view of Chinese culture) do they usually show? (I just want to know what to avoid. :) )

When I saw the topic, I remember that I had an unpleasant experience, here I won't say the guy where he come from, because I don't think his behavior is typical in his country .Let me call him "Lao wei A ",(no offend to our foreign friend :)).I had worked for a foreign company before, always kept the contact with Lao wai A at my work, I thought he was very nice and behaved well, but one day he asked me to put a technical book into the drawer and to be locked before we leaving the office during his visit in China, he said "if the book put anywhere in my country, after ten years, you will see it remain there still, but it could disappear after one night in China". I was shocked and can't give any words at that moment. Later, I responded him when he asked me where is the best to go around and take a look in the weekend, I said "please don't go out, as what you knew, China is not safe at all, you'd better stay in the hotel and make sure the door locked well otherwise you possibly disappear in China.
I want to say, RESPECT is at least... otherwise I think it's offensive, whatever how many "please, thanks"these kind of words he said.

1. Sex
Chinese people usually hold a conservative attitude toward sex. So if you communicate with Chinese people, showing too much interests in sex will annoy them and think you're a pervert. What's more, homosex is still not widely-accepted in China, so better not to talk about it.
2. Politics
Politics in China is a complex issue, both for domestic people and people around the world. Although even we Chinese people have some complaints about it, but for some obvious reasons we don't (sometimes dare not to) talk about it publicly or to foreigners. So you'd better not to talk to someone about politics in China too much (Like Tibet problem, Human rights in China, Sino-Japanese relationship, Sino-Russian relationship, etc.), it may upset him/her unless you are quite sure this won't happen.
3. "Face" (面子, mian-zi)
Many foreigners had heard about the truth that "face" is very important to Chinese people. So better not let someone lose his/her face publicly, even he/she is wrong, this will make a very bad result. The best way to deal with it is that you can tell him/her in a private way.
4. Arrogance
I won't hide the fact that China is still a developing country, with many problems which are weird and ridiculous to the people from other countries. And I know we Chinese have some bad habits and customs, but we're improving, and this needs time. So better not to teach Chinese people "You are doing it wrong, you should do it like this..." in an arrogant way.
I don't mean that we don't accept criticisms, but we would like to accept them in a friendly way.
Generally speaking, I think Chinese people are usually easy to get along with, a friendly attitude will earn you a good impression to Chinese people.
The things I listed above are just some extreme situations, and I am sure anyone who is well-educated will aware them and avoid them happening.
If you have any special questions about this, you can leave a message to me, hope my answer helps.

Attention about eating or drinking from my parents:
1. When having meal together, take food in the dish close to you,do not take other people‘s side.
2. Do not put foot on the chair. I liked that posture while eating when I was little girl, was always annoyed by my parents.
3. Do not eat too much at other people's home, even if the food is very delicious. And also do not focus on one tasty food, control control.
4. Do not drink too much since I am a girl. (Sometime I think it is a piece of cake, but I was controled. :) )
5. Customers comes, prepare tea immediately, otherwise my parents will annoy at me.
