Which is a harder language for English speakers?
German or French? Taking into account the pronunciation, grammar rules, spelling, tenses, cases, verbs, etc...........which is more difficult for an English speaker to learn?

French and German are easy as they contain many English words. I find that Russian, Japanese and Chinese are the hardest  to learn because of their different alphabets.

I think German is harder. For me the level of difficulty of the grammar is definitely a step above the romance languages.
