What is the difference between "Oh, God!"and "Oh, Gosh!". One of my students asked if "Oh, God!" is connected with negative emotions and is used mostly in negative situations (when sb dies or something bad happens).

It's the exact same thing. Some people say "Oh Gosh" to avoid saying God's name in vain. It means the same thing as "Oh God." It's just an interjection.

Both terms are used to indicate surprise/disbelief/ anger at something. "Oh Gosh" can also be used in a sarcastic way depending on the tone of voice.
