"Damn (something/someone) !" or much less commonly: "Curse (something/someone)" means you wish bad for that thing/person. It is short for "May you be damned!" or "(May) God damn you!" It probably came from "God damn you", but people don't say "God" because using the word "God" in a negative way is traditionally frowned upon. (it's called "using the Lord's name in vain") The verb "damn" means something like 咒罵。
