In the corrections, pay attention to how the commas are used. Ask the member who corrected you for an explanation. A handful of punctuation rules won't help you much. Learn to use the comma practically.

Roman's website gives a good list of the many different ways commas are used, so you should try to practice them in your writing. Here's one example that you can start with: I enjoy playing baseball. I don't like watching it on tv. We can use a comma and a conjunction to join these sentences. I enjoy playing baseball, but I don't like watching it on tv. Here's another example: There are many conjunctions. You don't have to use the same one every time. There are many conjunctions, so you don't have to use the same one every time.
