I am an enthusiast for Grammar. I have been studying English for five years on my own. I have been doing thousands of grammar exercises, I have many books related with it. Though, I found I am good at reading and writing but poor at speaking and listening. People told me it is because I was focus on Grammar lots of time and I overlooked the speaking and listening strategies. However, even when people are right, I found my way of learning really necessary for me. Because I am the one who is always looking for the right way to say, always checking more than twice when I write. All these ways of studying made myself confident and not excellent, but good at grammar. So, let me give you some advice; grammar seems to be a boring way of learning, but apart from it's necessary, you'll find out later that you know many complete sentences thank to those boring grammar exercises. Another thing, don't worry about making mistakes. I was worried about it a long time and I was stuck and disappointed, believing I was wasting my time. =)))) But One day all those grammar exercises came to my mind all together and I could write and speak more than five sentences in a minute. xD Good Luck! And enjoy Grammar! P.S. I won't be upset if somebody corrects my grammar mistakes made in my italki answers.

I have the same thought with Ms. Jura... after all, how could you say that you can 'solve' a grammar correctly when you can't even compose a proper grammar / sentence? If you know how to construct a right english grammar / sentences, it is likely that you can figure out someone's mistakes too. don't worry, we too are very willing to help you. :)

Hi you need lot of practice in speaking and writing before you are able to correct your own mistakes. Usually when you do grammatical exercises you can choose which word fits. We are here to help you.
