Without electric power, running a household would be more challenging, we would not use the fridge to preserve food, we would need to go to grocer everyday; we wouldn't use AC, summer heat would be scorching and unbearable; we wouldn't use the washing machine, washing clothes would cost so much time and energy; we wouldn't use water heater, it would take lots of time to boil water to bathe. The whole world wouldn't be connected with the internet, so I wouldn't be able to share my ideas on this platform: italki. Our life would be seriously affected without electricity, everything would slow down and we would be more distanced from the people who live far apart from us, but we would get closer to people who live near us.
