Hello! I've started journaling and I'll be glad if someone correct my mistakes!

Okay, I'm going to express some of my thoughts here. Today I heard the idea about how should I improve my writing skills in English: It would be better if I described more extended everything I thought about. More details is better. So, let's start.
Today I listened a couple of small audios from YT channel for A2 English speakers. The author told about his favourite sport and ended his monologue with saying he isn't playing any sport now. But when he was a child, he used to play a T-ball (or Tea-ball? or Tee-ball, I don't know, haha). It isn't a popular kind of sport so I think the most listeners heard about it for the first time.
I also listened another audio about books. I remember that he likes to read fiction books. But I didn't memorize any book he likes. I wrote a comment about my favourite book at the moment – Atomic Habits by James Clear.
So, that's it. I'm gonna send this text on HiNative and ask some help to correct my mistakes. Bye! Maybe see you tomorrow

Today I heard the idea about how should I improve my writing skills in English: It would be better if I described more extended everything I thought about. (better if "I elaborated more." or "I described more in detail that I thought about"
"extended everything" is an odd phrase.
Today I listened a couple of small (brief, short is more common) audios from YT channel for A2 English speakers.
Pretty good. Understandable. Keep going.
More details is better. So, let's start: (added colon)

I think it's fine except in some areas you don't keep to the past tense.
