私の町 皆さんこんにちは！最近私の日本語のレベルをついて考える。もう勉強するが必要だ。そしてエントリーをもう書かなければいけないよ！それでわ。。。今日私の町を紹介しよう。お名前はJenisonだ。アメリカのミシガン州にある。小さくて静かな町だ。町の中に私の両親の店がある。タイ国のレストランと薬屋の間だ。道の向かいに家がある。家から２つ目の道にガソリンスタンドがある。の近くに台湾のレストランがある。よくここ に家族と食べている。レストランの右にスターバックスがある。毎朝ここに来ている！彼らのコーヒーが大好きだ！。の西にJenisonの高校がある。去年この高校の学生だった。時々私の旧師を来遊している。高校の学生が音楽を引くのが上手だ。体育じゃない。 Hello everyone! Recently, I've been thinking about my level in the Japanese language. I need to study more! I must also write more entries! Well, today, let me introduce you to my town. The town is named Jenison. It is in the state of Michigan. It's a pretty small and quiet town. At the center of the town is my parent's shop. I lies between a Thai restaurant and a pharmacy. Across the street is my house. Two streets from my house is a gas station. There is a Taiwanese restaurant near it. I often go there with my family to eat. To the right of the restaurant is a Starbucks. I go there about every morning; I really love their coffee! To the west is Jenison High school. I was a student here last year. Sometimes I come visit my old teachers. The students here are good at playing music. Physical education...not so much. :D

マレフィセント 皆さん、こんにちは。今日は新しいコンピューターでこのエントリーを書く。昨日母と「マレフィセント」と言う映画を見た。映画が始まる前に面白くて珍しかったですと思った。でも終わる後に面白くなくて愚昧だったと思ったよ。映画の役者が全然好きじゃなかった。

アメリカの戦没者追悼記念日 皆様こんにちは! 今日は月曜日だ。そして、アメリカの戦没者追悼記念日でもある。毎戦没者追悼記念日、私の町にパレードがある。皆来て見た。この日に両親の店はあんまり開いてある。とても忙しいです。それでわ、手伝わなければいけない。 Hello everyone! Today's Monday! It's also Memorial Day in America. 水曜日 皆こんにちは！今日は木曜日だ。一日中勉強したよ。水曜日はもっと面白いですと思うけど。昨日新しい法のクラスに行った。新しい同級生と会った。クラスの前は彼らと米国の法を話した。私も新しい先生は見た。天才的で大きいです。彼のクラスのが好きです。早く話したけど。クラスの後は家に帰った。着いてから『バトルフィールド ４』と言うゲームをプレイした。２時間までプレイしたから、www。それから本を読んで寝た。

私の日本語は良いと思うんです。 Hello everyone! I'm going to ask a Japanese friend if my Japanese is good, but I plan on being fancy and say it in Japanese! >:D I came up with the following sentence, 私の日本語は良いと思うんです。Can someone help me verify if the grammar is correct? Now, at first, I considered using 自分の日本語。 Would this be grammatically correct? Also, is んですか used correctly here? In my textbook, んですか。 is used for demanding an explanation. You could say I'm asking him to explain to me if my Japanese is good or not, right? Thank you, Kai

majiru or majiwaru? 交じるか交わる Hello everyone! どうも皆さんこんにちは！ I have ran into a little conundrum! I'm trying to write down in my journal, "Yesterday, I associated with my new friends." So, I wrote down 昨日私は新しい友達と交わりました。 However, I discovered that 交わる I can also mean intercourse, yikes! >.< I've noticed that 交じる, can be used for "associated" or "mingle" 昨日私は新しい友達と交じりました。 Can anyone help me figure out which is the correct verb for associate? Is it majiru, majiwaru, or some other word? Thank you, Kai

sumimashita or sunde imashita? 住みました or 住んでいました Hello, I was reading through my Japanese grammar book, and I came upon a sentence that wouldn't stop bothering me the entire day. "アメリカに住んでいました。" "Amerika ni sunde imashita." I searched for sumu in it's conjugated past tense form and it said, "住みました。" So, wouldn't the correct sentence be, "アメリカに住みました。" "Amerika ni sumimashita。" I'm hesitant to claim that the book has an error, and chances are, I might be wrong. But can anyone explain to me why 'sunde' is so special that it doesn't conjugate to '住みました' but rather 住んでいました? Thank you, Kai
