Square root, cube root - spelling Hello everyone! I got a question and I'm not sure if I can google the answer. There is a square root, cube root. What do English native speakers call for example 81 to the power of one-fourth, one-fifth? It's a lame way of spelling it right? I hope you got my question and you know what I mean. Please spell it out if you can. I'll be enormously grateful for that! Thank you!

What is an examale of a trustworthyTESOL certificate?

Hello! Do you happen to know which online school TESOL certificates are trustworthy? I know there is Cambridge CELTA course for teachers, but most tutors don't seem to have them, apparently because tuition fees are high in there. I googled it and there were so many search results, that now I am in doubts. Is there a way do evaluate those certificates?

Thank you!

Best wishes,

Alexey

Hilton Marsa Alam Nubian Resort I've heard this very positive opinion about hostels before from many EU young people.I've been to Hilton Marsa Alam Nubian Resort, located near the Red Sea. The hotel is considered posh for an Egyptian hotel. Since we’ve got 70 percent discount we opted for it. Most visitors were citizens of Western Europe, but several folks were from ex-soviet countries like Kazakhstan and Russia. 9 flags were outside the hotel, which meant what nationalities had arrived at the hotel. I met guys from Switzerland, Poles, Brits and a couple of incredibly drunk young girls from Czech Republic. The place itself is divers' Mecca, since rich flora and fauna attract more and more tourists to the Red sea teeming with fish, colored with all hues and tinges of the rainbow. The Red Sea provides you with excellent opportunity to swim around in crystal clear water with dolphins and turtles around you. However, there is an obvious downside of the hotel. Nightlife is practically non-existent. After midnight discos, bars and restaurants are closed down. Tourists, who are mostly 40-something, flock to their rooms. Even though you might want to dance until 2 am the only two options available are: staring at the night sky and listening to both pounding surf and music beat from nearby Brayka hotel where people dance until sunrise. I forgot to mention excellent cuisine in all four hotel’s restaurants. I still had an excellent opportunity to meet many people, though. Which I did. I’ve never stayed at a hostel, but I’m looking forward to traveling around the world, therefore I will have had this experience soon.

Tom Cruise Hello everyone! Can you help me to understand this sentense? "Tom Cruise was clearly not in on a joke with local pranksters" He didn't appreciate the joke, obviously. What else can someone not be "in on with"? Thank you for your examples!

Camping on the Volga river 2012 On my 30th birthday I was given a present from my parents. The present was a return ticket to the Russian city of Samara, which is located on the Volga River where I had never been before, but I had heard a lot about the place. We arrived to the city itself and then sailed to the river bank where my stepmother’s friend had built a temporary structure that then became permanent as many temporary structures do. Our family, their friends and I spent three days living on the river’s bank among campers who occupy the Volga river delta for six months a year for many decades enjoying this kind of lifestyle. For the first time in my life I steered a motorboat and paddled in a kayak! The three nights I spent there were more vivid, awe-inspiring and with a better recreational effect then the 8 nights in posh five-star Hilton in Egypt. We also went for fishing, swimming and made an improvised sauna in which we jumped directly out of it right into the water. I had never been outdoors for such a long time before and the experience has had a deep impact on me. I didn’t realize that in our country there was something away from concrete jungles, Starbucks and office spaces. Especially I’d like to mention simple, but great and sincere people who I met there and to whom I hope I’ll come back to one day in the foreseeable future.

A word Hello! Recently I came across a word "shenanigans". Context is:" Paul Coates said you treatened to accuse him of all sorts of shenanigans" - quote from Broadchurch season one. How often do native speakers of English use it? I just like how it sounds. Thank you!
